Baarbad Music is a non-for profit organization and was founded by Mehdi Rezania and Toloe Roushenas in 2004. 
The organization has held several concerts on several genres from Classical Persian, to Fusion and Western Classical based on compositions of members or others with new arrangements.

Baarbad Music always attempts to express new ideas such as solo performance concert, which has not been done before in Toronto, to promote the culture of music. Also by hosting grand masters with unique styles such as Master Ardavan Kamkar, the globally distinguished santur player and composer, Baarbad Music promotes styles of music which are innovative, unique in originality and creativity but has not been presented much to public although have been acclaimed and understood by musicians globally.

Our main goal is promoting the culture of Classical Music especially that of Persia through innovation and in a contemporary atmosphere. Contemporary Music as Ardavan Kamkar has said “is accomplished when it could be channeled to the roots of traditional & folklore music and it reaches its zenith when common people could understand it and experts would praise it.”
